Newly out of the military, Dr Ben Garrison wants to rid himself of the lighthouse he has inherited as soon as possible. But the editor of the local newspaper, Marci Weber, has other ideas. As sparks fly over the fate of the heritage building, a different fire is kindled between two wary souls.
A crumbling lighthouse is *not* part of the inheritance Army doctor Ben Garrison expects to claim when he journeys to Hope Harbor. Fresh out of the service, he wants only to unload the tower of bricks, decompress from years of treating battlefield trauma, and prepare to launch his civilian career.
*Hope Harbor Herald* editor Marci Weber has other ideas. She may not be a Hope Harbor native, but the small Oregon seaside town has become home--and she's determined to save the Pelican Point landmark.
Sparks fly as the two go head to head over the fate of the lighthouse. But when they start to cooperate, a different kind of fire ignites. And as they work together, might Hope Harbor heal the hearts of these two romance-wary souls?
Bestselling author Irene Hannon invites readers back to their favorite town for a story that will light a beacon of hope within their hearts.

This is another story set in the small town of Hope Harbor. I love that it keeps building on the lives of people in the town while adding new characters too. Ben and Marci have great chemistry and the story keeps you wanting to read to see what happens. It has a slight mystery, history and fun romance. I love how this author manages to address some deep issues while not overwhelming you.

Love conquers all
This book will keep you on your toes! Be prepared for emotional investment. The story has heart and soul, with old characters coming back. What I love most about this series is the sense of community. Everyone is genuinely concerned for the other, and keeps an eye out to bind together when problems arise. Enjoyable story!

Continuing on in Hope Harbour
Loved this story in the Hope Harbour Series. \\r\\nBen arrives to find he's inherited a crumbling lighthouse and on saving a cat up a tree meets Marci. \\r\\nInterest soon becomes obvious on both sides and while sparks fly there is also background to work through for each of them from previous relationships. \\r\\nMarci soon gets a group gathered to save the lighthouse which is a town favourite. \\r\\nCan these two work through the things that would try to prevent them being together. \\r\\nWith a little kindness, patience, and grace amazing things happen when a lighthouse is trying to be saved. \\r\\nEnjoy.
