Practicing Thankfulness: Cultivating a Grateful Heart in All Circumstances$23.99
This is a book that has been a great help for me personally, as naturally my heart gravitates towards grumbling instead of being grateful. I tend to see the cup as half-empty instead of half-full. Sam Crabtree has done a great job with arguing from scriptures that reasons to thank God are all around us, and both the positive and negative effects of having a grateful heart. My mind has been renewed by this brief book, knowing that God wills that we give thanks not only in everything (1 Thessalonians 5:18), but also for everything, even the bad circumstances in our lives (Ephesians 5:20), knowing that God works in all things for our good (Romans 8:28). I love how this book closes with a chapter on the questions and answers on the subject of thankful heart, and also a practical chapter on 100 reasons to be thankful, which can be read every day in our lives.
