Through his travels, Alvin Slaughter has seen a pervasive weariness and discouragement in the body of Christ. He knows the signs because he has been there himself. Despite being in church all of his life, knowing every song and countless scriptures, Slaughter struggled with fear, depression, financial failure, and marital strife.
