**Why do relationships seem so complicated?**
This is not a teen Bible study about marriage or dating or purity or anything like that. It’s a study about finding ourselves in the company of others.
Focusing on seminal relationships in the Bible (David and Jonathan, Paul and Barnabas, Ruth and Naomi, Joseph and his brothers) as well as individuals whose biblical experiences were distinctly relational (John the disciple, Timothy the apprentice, Miriam the prophet, Eve “the Woman”), students will see how relationships shape their identity and how their identity informs (and sometimes malforms) their relationships.
The Bible doesn’t hand out fix-it formulas—but it does something better. It gives you company. It gives you witnesses. It gives you a God who has not flinched away from any kind of complexity, including yours. Something happens when you start looking at your own story through the lens of these ancient, messed-up, beloved, transformed people. Something shifts. The questions get a little less terrifying. The silence gets a little less empty.
This is where God wants to meet you. Open up the next page.
