Remixing the Church

The Emerging Church movement continues to generate a significant amount of critical discussion. Doug Gay seeks to identify and evaluate what goes on in the emerging church and how it relates to other developments of the twentieth and twenty-first century church. The term 'emerging church' is not without its critics. It is used both by those who participate in new worship communities and by those who are suspicious of the claim that the emerging church presents something radically new.
