Frame*** is a Festschrift honoring Prof. Frame's career in seminary teaching - but this book does not merely collect essays on the subjects of Frame's interests, it analyses Frame's own work in the fields of theology, apologetics, ethics, worship, the church, and others. The authors include Wayne Grudem, Richard Pratt, Paul Helm, Vern Poythress, Bruce Waltke, William Davis, William Edgar, Peter Jones, Reggie Kidd, and others who are familiar with Frame's work. Many are Frame's former students and colleagues. This is the first large scale analysis of Frame's distinctive approach.

A Fresh, Clear and Enjoyable Perspective

I have been a Christian for many years, and have read widely. Unfortunately, I had never read anything by John Frame, until I saw this book out on special at Koorong Books. \\r\\n\\r\\nJohn himself, along with a host of other substantial writers (J. I. Packer, Wayne Grudem) contribute to this 'Festschrift', edited by John J. Hughes. \\r\\n\\r\\nJohn Frame has a beautifully systematic, winsome way of writing, and teaching theology. He reasons in Christ. He keeps close to, and speaks from what he hears in the biblical text. (We might expect that, since he was a student of Cornelius Val Til, something one may find surprising, at first). \\r\\n\\r\\nI learned some new rich insights from his fresh, clear and enjoyable perspective. \\r\\n\\r\\nThis book has given me the desire to read more of Frame's theology, and to appreciate his character. We see that he has been a man with a generous, ecumenical, biblical heart for Christ and for life. He is certainly a master theologian with much to share. He has taught truth, with the simultaneous ability to oppose and refute error with a gracious and winsome disposition. \\r\\n\\r\\nPeople who disagree with him, generally honour him, and his faithful work. Students, preachers, and long time theologians will undoubtedly, benefit and learn a great deal, from reading this book, of over 1000 pages. Great book!
