    Sweet and light

This series of 4 Novellas was sweet, light and uplifting. I enjoyed reading these 4 short stories and liked the mystery in them. I didn't however feel very attached to any of the characters as there wasn't enough time to get to get to know them well. I still would recommend these though for some light reading.

    Simply Smitten

I enjoyed this collection of Novellas - it was sweet and the mystery was intriguing enough to hold the four books together. I did feel though that the mystery almost needed to be solved completely with Tess from the first book - it seemed like she cared the most about the mystery than her sisters. \\r\\n\\r\\nMy favourite story of the four was the last one as it just captured my attention and heart a little more than the others. This isn't deep stuff though and its not meant to be. Gentle, sweet reading is sometimes a necessity in life!\\r\\n

More Stories from the Romance Capital

The Smitten collection from bestselling Christian authors Colleen Coble, Kristin Billerbeck, Diann Hunt and Denise Hunter is about finding love in the small town of Smitten, the self-proclaimed romance capital of America, , Vermont. Secretly Smitten is set in the same town, but with a different set of characters, so there is no need to have read Smitten first. \\r\\n\\r\\nThese four novellas centre around the Wood sisters, Tess, Zoe, and Clare, and their mother, Anna. In the background, the family are unravelling the mystery of a set of Korean War dog tags found in their attic, and trying to get RailAmerica to stop in Smitten and help boost their fledgling tourism industry. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe four stories are:\\r\\nLove Between the Lines by Colleen Coble, about bookshop owner Tess and Ryan, the handsome widower whose house might hold the answer to the mystery of the dog tags;\\r\\nMake Me a Match by Kristen Billerbeck, Zoe running into trouble with William, the new city manager, with her new matchmaking business;\\r\\nKnit One, Love Two by Diann Hunt, as Anna tries to expand her business with a little help from Michael; and\\r\\nLove Blooms by Denise Hunter has Clare stepping out of her comfort zone and hiring Ethan, a drifter, to work in the garden centre she manages. \\r\\n\\r\\nI thought the first and last novellas were excellent, but didn't like the middle two as much. I found it difficult to relate to the characters, because I didn't see the connection between Zoe and…
