Perfect
I love Denise Hunter's books, and Summer by the Tides certainly lived up to her usual standard. There's simply nothing to fault with Summer by the Tides. It's a great book, with complex interrelational crises, more than a few dramatic surprises, beautiful peaceful coastal setting until it's not, spiritual growth in many of the major characters, and a slow-brewing romance to top it all off. I enjoyed seeing the story from numerous points of view, and watching the three sisters experience the giving and receiving of forgiveness. The telling of the past was done very cleverly, transporting us back in time. I recommend this book to all lovers of contemporary Christian romance reading.
