    Interesting Reading

Having read a few of Sibbes books and enjoyed them, I was attracted to read this book. Mark Dever gives both an historical and theological account of Sibbes's life. \\nI found the historical details of the times a little tedious at times, BUT, it was certainly worth reading through to get to the theological. The chapters on Predestination, Covenant, Conversion, The centrality of the heart, Assurance of Salvation, and The role of conscience were excellent. \\nIt is well worth reading, and people who enjoy historical details would enjoy it more. \\n
