The Chapel Car Bride

This book wasn't as good as some of Judith Miller's others. It was a pleasant romance story and it was quite interesting with the concept of a chapel car on a train - I had never heard of such a thing before. It was wonderful learning of this new and interesting kind of ministry. In many cases it seems the small mining communities often largely went without spiritual guidance in any form and I loved the fact that there was an organisation that sent preachers around the countryside. There seemed to be a bit of an unresolved issue in Kirby - he was undertaking all those illegal activities, but other than him being arrested and imprisoned, it doesn't really say much about what happened to him. I think this book could have used a bit more suspense and action.
