    Engaging Historica Fiction

I read this novel on recommendation and loved it! Roxy is a character who quickly works her way into your heart and her story is engaging. Whilst genteel she is a woman of grace and true grit. The complicated Colonel Cassius McLinn is just as charming and you'll find yourself willing that their love story has a happy ending. Watch for the twists and turns though!

Don't you love it when you find a great new author?

I will definitely be seeking out more Laura Frantz books now that I have had a taste of her work. I thought this book was fabulous. Set during the 1700s on the Kentucke Frontier, this love story has it all. You can't help but fall a bit in love with Colonol McLinn!
