The Complex Infrastructure Known as the Female Mind

I bought this book as a teenager as a big Relient K fan. Both when I first read it, and re-flicking through it about 8 years later, I was astounded by how little this book has to offer. It creates stereotypical female categories and discusses their opinions on them. What this book does have to offer is a sense of comedy or wit at times, but even in that regard it does seem to have a more serious take on things than you would expect by listening to creativity and light-heartedness of their music. \\r\\nMy main reason for not recommending this book is that I think we must be discerning what we are reading and taking in at anytime, but particularly in the teenage years, it is vital that any information about boys and dating is quality, and of strong Biblical grounding, so that the wrong message isn't recieved, as the effects can have a life-long impact. Whilst this book isn't necessarily un-Biblical, it may not not be as helpful as other books on the market may be due to what it says about fitting into a certain category as a person, and in what it doesn't say in terms of covering a broad and Biblical view of relationships.
