Every Christian should read this book. Not to pull it apart theologically, or criticise its interpretation, but simply to be impacted by what could well have been going through the mind of God throughout history. Gene Edwards uses what we know about God, based on the undeniable truth of the Word of God, and adds what I believe is a measure of divine imagination, to create an inspirational book which touches the heart of the reader with the enormity of God's plan, His faithfulness and, most of all, His eternal love for humankind. Read it with the eyes of your heart open, without analysing it too much, and it will enlarge your vision of God. Not to be missed. \\n\\n\\n

The divine romance is a beautiful book to read. The stage is set as we, the reader, sit in our seats as this story unfolds before us. Hear angels speak to each other as they witness God almighty create our world and his greatest creation. . . . Man. \\r\\nWe witness the heart of God through the ages and his desire for his people to be in relationship to him. It is truly a love story of the highest degree as God Almighty patiently waits on his people as they disobey ,commit adultery and live selfish lives. . . all the time he is alongside them wooing them and reaching out with his love. Will he finally recieve his bride without spot or blemish? I guess its up to us, isnt it?\\r\\n\\r\\nI have bought several copies of this book to give to others. \\r\\nIt is a highly recommended must read. I have given it 5 stars.
