The Field Guide to the Bible: Making Some Sense of An Ancient Book With Really Tiny Font

I believe this field guide would be good for teens who want to start studying the bible on their own, and adults wanting to read the bible for the first time, especially if they have never been to Sunday school. \\nIt looks at what is in the bible, where you should start reading, how the bible is laid out; It has an overview of the story, book guides, shows some other resources to help you, looks into some different translations, and explains some words a new reader might not have heard before. It even has space in the back for your own notes. \\nIt's a quick read and easy to understand. It is colourful inside and has illustrations which makes it aesthetically pleasing. Overall it does a good job of summarizing what a first time bible reader needs to know. \\nI bought it to see if it would be good to give to teens in youth group and believe it is. \\nI would also recommend this for someone who wants to read the bible who doesn't have any background knowledge of What the bible is about. \\nI also like that it is Australian.
