This allegory of Joseph (and his many brothers) from the Bible swept me along from the start as I found myself swept up in the journey of faith Abramm took. He’s spent his life devoting everything he has to the god he believes in, only to find himself betrayed by the man who’d been more a father to him than his own and sold into a life he should never have survived. Only he did, and found more than he ever expected along the way. Part faith story, part gladiator, this book is a must read for anyone who loves a good fantasy or allegory. Absolutely brilliantly written.
