God is good and He has good plans for us all. He uses people and circumstances and works all these things together for our good. That's """"the mercy"""" and to read it all playing out in the lives of our dear friends Rose and Hen and their family and community is such a delight and so inspiring. Coming to the end is like moving away from home, but at least we know that God has worked everything for good in the lives of those we have come to know and love through the excellent writing of Beverly Lewis. She not only gives us amazing insight into the lives and thoughts of the main characters, but also into the Amish way of life - we are privy to a wedding, a funeral, a baptism, lots of quilting, much wisdom and lots of love. I thoroughly enjoyed this series and can't recommend it highly enough.
