The Parent's Guide to Eating Disorders

At least 1.1 million people in the UK are affected by an eating disorder, with young people in the age-group 14-25 being most at risk of developing this type of illness.  
This book is the result of a perceived hole in the market if self-help literature. Jane Smith (current director of ABC and co-author with Kate Middleton of First Steps out of Eating Disorders) is collaborating with Care for the Family to produce a book about eating disorders for the many parents of its sufferers. It will be full of the experience of parents ABC has advised and trained over the years, responding to the most frequently asked questions ABC encounters.  
This will also be supported by new seminars on the subject run by Care for the Family.
