    Inspiring

This book is the first in a series set around D-day in Normandy. This one is from the view of the navy's responsibility. I found the historical information fascinating. The setting is in England. I loved following Wyatt's journey of learning to forgive himself. He is a very likeable character. Dorothy, the woman he meets, I found a little frustrating and wanted shake at times. \\nIt was a very enjoyable story. I am looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

a great start to another series

I have thoroughly enjoyed every Sarah Sundin book I have read, and 'The Sea Before Us' is no exception! I love how realistically flawed her characters are: there were many times when I wanted to give Dorothy, and Wyatt, a good shaking, but I couldn't help loving them despite their poor decisions. \\r\\n \\r\\nAs with her other books, this can be read as a stand alone novel, although the story was not completely finished at the end. Does Wyatt eventually reconnect with his brothers? what happens next? I can't wait to find out!
