beautiful
The Swan House' is a beautiful coming of age story set among the turbulent times of the 1960s American south. Tragic events force Mary Swan to face family secrets, racial prejudice, and the tumult of growing up, but most importantly, to encounter God in a vibrant and active faith. Since the protagonist in a teenage girl, I think this novel would appeal to older teens, as well as adults.
