The Truth Seeker (#03 in O'Malley Series)

My favourite O'Malley story, and that's difficult to say as they're all special. Lisa and Quinn's story was introduced in """"The Guardian"""", where their attraction and irritation towards the other alluded to a very good read. It never lacked spunk, laughter, vulnerability, trust, and honour. Give me any story though about a Marshal who lives in the country with a southern drawl and cleans up well in a tux! Quinn's confident, sensitive, considerate, persistent, and a practical joker. Lisa though is vulnerable and doesn't want open up about her past. This all catches up with her when she is brought back to the town she wants to forget (as part of the case). Quinn is there for her, gently nudging her to trust him with her secrets that lead her to Jesus. Their chemistry is electric. Whilst Lisa and Quinn's relationship develops, the O'Malley's become a bigger family as the series progresses. Jennifer's story also continues which pulls at the heart strings. It's a great read! The case tying it all together is intriguing, but just remember the answer is right in front of you. When I had to put the book down, it's all I thought about. Enjoy :)

Fantastic!! Henderson does it every single time! Words cannot convey how well this whole novel was put together, from the characters to how the plot flowed. Lisa and Quinn's story is the third in the O'Malley family and I fell in love with the whole O'Malley family all over again. Lisa is amazing at what she does and Quinn is one of the best; put them together. . . they're unstoppable! They complement each other perfectly and bring out the best in each other. The way the story was woven together was also fantastic!! Full of suspense with unexpected twists and turns (which of course I won't tell :) ), I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the book. I have no idea how Henderson does it, but every single time she manages to incorporate such deep themes. This novel was no exception. There are perfect amounts of faith woven in, that it doesn't make it sound preachy but sufficiently explains the topics explored. I normally don't read romantic suspense, I just don't like suspenseful books, but Henderson's books are the only novels that I really enjoy. If I could, I'd give this novel 6 out of 5 stars!! This is a must read novel by an amazing author!! I would very highly recommend it!!

Dee Henderson's O'Malley series will always be my favourites of her books - mainly because of the close family ties between the siblings. I love the way they are there for each other, no matter what. Their lives are not easy, nor are their journeys to love and faith, but rather than skimming over those challenges, they face them head on. \\r\\n\\r\\nI loved the detail in this one - the crime scenes, the mystery running through it as more and more clues were revealed. But mostly I loved the romance between Lisa and Quinn, especially after meeting them in previous books. Great story (if you don't mind the detailed descriptions of murder crimescenes!). \\r\\n
