A beautiful, simple story
This was a beautiful story I'd read over and over again. Leah's determination to make a future for two-year-old Fiona despite her own inability to share it is a tribute to sacrificial motherhood. Jade and Riley are delightfully nave and seemingly unaware of Lean's plan. This book would make a great Hallmark movie, and I appreciated the depth of character development in a mere 190 pages - readers get to know and love the characters, laugh and cry with them, and want the very best for them all. Loree Lough has the habit of jamming great stories into short page counts, then finishing with an epilogue way into the future -this one is seven years. I felt a bit cheated and a bit rushed, but I still loved the story and recommend it to you if you love sweet, inspirational romances.
