I so like Karen Kingsbury's writing but for some reason over the past few years, her books have al become more and more morbid and sad. In so many of her books now she has a car crash that ends up killing multiple people and then a lot of the book is about everyone working through the emotions of their loss. Im not sure why this is such a consistant story line for her, but I genuinely find it sad and depressing. I like books that uplift you and make you feel joyful at the end. Her characters are always very good and her writing style is amazing but sadly her desire to always kill off characters in a very sad way, makes me not want to keep reading her books
