Warfare Witness

Spiritual warfare is a popular topic, with no shortage of books addressing the subject. However, rather than this important issue being developed from a biblically-founded view, it is often drawn from extra-biblical ideas, with God's Word brought to the service of human notions. In 'Warfare Witness' Stanley Gale sets out to rectify this trend.

Spiritual warfare forms the backdrop against which we understand life, the work of Christ and our work of ministry in the world in which we live. God has not left us without instruction on the subject of the spiritual opposition we face and how we are to wage spiritual warfare. In fact, the Bible is full of the counsel of God to equip us for the task. 'Warfare Witness' fixes our attention firmly upon God's word, enabling us to understand the opposition believers face in reaching others for Christ.

Jesus has won the war as only He could, but there remains a battle taking place, one that involves us. In our spiritual growth we face a foe and it is of great importance that we know what this foe looks like, and how to deal with it. The Lord has not left us to fight this battle alone, and when we look to his word we will find it an immense source of strength, guidance and preparation for the fight.Read less
