Really Encouraging
This book is a fantastic encouragement! I found the first two chapters a bit slow going but it was well worth sticking with it as the rest of the book is truly scripturally inspired encouragement. Whatever stage of life you're at as a woman the author reminds us that God has us right where He wants us and nothing can shake His love and His plans for us. I've recommended and gifted this book to family and friends.

Excellent Book
This book opens the door for women to think about their lives and relationship with God in an essentially different way. The author challenges the reader to examine herself, her life & her relationships in terms of God & what he is saying thru' the 3 stories of Mary & Martha. Carolyn Curtis James writes in an highly accessible style, revealing the truth of scripture to women in, I suspect, a way that only a woman can. Not a book for those looking to tear down men, this is a book for every women who seeks to serve God better & to live her life more completely. An excellent gift for those new to their relationship with God & will be useful to those who have been with Him their whole lives. Love it.
