A brief discussion
This little book is a compilation of thoughts Piper has about how to support those walking through the dark night of the soul. It was an interesting take and I wouldn't discourage anyone from reading

Highly recommend
This is the first John Piper book I have read and I would highly highly recommend it. I had been in a really dark place and this book was a source of hope, comfort and empathy. John Piper writes in a very soothing but also authoritative manner. If you are in the depths of despair, I would recommend you read this book
