John Bevere is an international speaker, bestselling author, and Bible teacher known for challenging Christians to pursue deeper faith, holiness, and wholehearted discipleship. Together with his wife, Lisa, he co-founded Messenger International in 1990, a ministry dedicated to equipping believers around the world with biblical teaching and discipleship resources.

Bevere has written more than twenty books, including The Bait of Satan, The Awe of God, Under Cover, and The King Is Coming.
