    Danger Never Sleeps

If any of you know me then you know that I absolutely love Lynette Eason's books. Her stories always draw me so that I don't want to put them down. I have to keep reading until I finish. This series was no exception. All three books drew me in and kept the suspense high. I enjoy how all three books remain with the same group of friends but also starts and connects with their time serving in Afghanistan. \\n\\nI think part of the reason I enjoy these books so much is that the lives of the characters is so far from mine. I'm not in the military, I'm not in an emergency services job. I don't live my life reacting to action, drama and danger. But it is enjoyable to read a book that is so far from your normal life.

    Gripping

I loved this book and could barely put it down. I found it had realistic relationships that highlighted struggles people do have with family members and didn't sugar coat and make it perfect. The tension was transferable from the page to the reader and you desperately wanted to help them figure it out. The author created great empathy with the characters and developed a complex plot that didn't give everything away on page 1
