2nd in the series, does not disappoint
The author did a fantastic job of reminding the reader of the general details in the first book without rehashing or blatantly summarising. You could read this title without having read the first and still enjoy it. Themes of women's rights, forgiveness and loyalty are throughout. I liked the changes in the leading man and the encouragement he was to his love interest. There were hints of what's to come in the 3rd book and I can't wait to read it.
