This book contains 8 chapters on issues that most Christians encounter. They range from sinful behaviour/thoughts (e. g. lust) through to positive aspects (e. g. Keeping spiritually fresh). Each seems based on a sermon which is engaging, clear and easy to read. They are all practical & helpful. Vaughan writes for a general audience so most people can pick up the book and start reading. A small group of blokes did just that and read a chapter before meeting on a monthly basis. The chapter lead to some good discussion that opened up the conversation further. \\nI'd recommend this book to anyone; from a new believer to someone wanting to be challenged with some friends, from the young to an older Christian as a refresher.

Buy the book
Vaughan writes honestly and humbly about the battles all Christians face. Even if some battles are not yours right now you will encounter them at some point in life or will be able to encourage others. I have bought this book for almost all of my friends. Buy it too!
