## SUMMARY OF THE BIBLE SPEAKS TODAY (BST) - NEW TESTAMENT SET (REVISED EDITIONS, 22 VOLS)

The *Bible Speaks Today* New Testament set covers every book of the New Testament across 22 volumes.

These revised editions are redesigned inside and out and have been sensitively updated with contemporary language and Bible translations to help you follow, study, and teach the Bible in today’s world.

Originally started and edited by the late J. A. Motyer and John R. W. Stott, the *Bible Speaks Today* (BST) commentaries employ Stott's "threefold ideal . . . to expound the biblical text with accuracy, to relate it to contemporary life and to be readable." Each contributor in this series has, therefore, been selected for both their scholarly rigour and their experience in ministry.

A set most bible students should have
The BST is a must have series of Commentaries for any serious bible student.
It is far from technical, but the amount of hidden gems contained within each separate book in the set is something to keep in mind. I would also say the BST is a brilliant starting point for Lay-Men/Women, before stepping into more technical commentaries.
A good resource for any pastor or bible teacher of any degree to be used as a reference guide.
