Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia: A Reader's Edition

The BHS Reader's Edition is a feat of scholarly and publishing excellence enabling insight into the Hebrew Old Testament. Having worked hard at learning Hebrew at theological college, I was keen to keep up my reading ability by integrating Hebrew into my quiet times. This Reader's Edition has made that possible with it's contextual glossing of vocabulary occurring 70x or less, as well as parsing any irregular verbs or forms. I am able to read most texts without needing another book open (like a lexicon or English translation), helping me to appreciate the flow and craft of the text. \\r\\nThe biggest challenge is learning the parsing code in the apparatus, but can find a printable bookmark provided by the publisher online which makes this easy. \\r\\nThe publishing quality is excellent with aesthetic typeface and formatting. \\r\\nHighly recommended for those who are wanting to keep reading in Hebrew having studied it.
