Now with a new foreword by Henry Blackaby and Tom Blackaby.
L. E. Maxwell writes, "The cross is the key to all situations as well as to all Scripture."
By relating the cross as essential to the life of the believer, Professor L.E. Maxwell simply and practically shows how an understanding of our identification with Christ in his death and resurrection can lead to life as it was meant to be lived. It is by living with a cross-centered perspective that we can have both victory over sin and power to serve God well.
Maxwell's heart and vision for training up young poeple with the truth of God's Word and the necessity of evangelism shines forth in this little book. Readers know authenticity when they read it--and Maxwell exudes it.

I discovered this book from reading,""""Maxwell's Passion Power"""" by W. Harold Fuller. Born Crucified is so thought provoking and encouraging. It's not a book that just gives """"how one canshould live"""", but is also very realistic in that it says living a crucified life is difficult and won't happen overnight. I like to underline in my books, and this one is no exception! This is a book I will always being referring back to and I've even purchased the e-book so that I'll always have it with me. It's a great book also because the chapters are short and one can use it as a devotional. Here are a couple sentences I have underlined: """"It is hard to unlearn self. Until we are sick unto death of sin, we have hard work to reckon ourselves dead unto sin"""" - pg 60 and,""""It is not self-crucifixion but union with Christ in His death and resurrection that lays the basis for Christian victory"""" - pg 61. I highly recommend this book. I even bought a couple more to share with people.
