The writing style as an adult I appreciate as well as the message and literary references. It is simple, noble and flowing and doesnt meander as much as C S Lewis' Narnia books but they're both good reads.

Thrilling Adventure
Chosen Ones is the first book in the Aedyn Chronicles. It is about two siblings named Peter and Julia. When Julia falls into a pool in a garden, and pulls Peter along with her, something strange happens that they would never forget. This book made me feel like I was part of the story. The characters became alive while I was reading. I loved every second of this book. Great for kids aged 8-14. This is a thrilling adventure.
