Olivia is soon convinced the answers are linked to the abandoned house across the street - known throughout the school as the "wishing house" - when she sees a bright glow and a mysterious woman at the window. When she sets out to prove it's an angel, Olivia creates a stir that puts her at odds with the property owner, Dr. Nathan Davis (Kevin Sorbo), a cynical man who has been beaten down by tragic events in his life.
What Olivia discovers is a reclusive and mysterious inhabitant of the house, Elsie Waybright (Della Reese). Elsie is no angel, and she has plenty of secrets to keep, but she does have the answer to how the Christmas wishes came true. Elsie's unlikely friendship with Olivia shows them both that anyone can be an angel to others, but when wishes become prayers, good angels take the truly impossible requests to God, and not into their own hands...

Great storyline
A very nice storyline and great characters. No clear gospel explanation, but a good example and discussion of the difference between those situations that God expects us to work at, and those that we can only trust God with in prayer. Not as cringe-worthy as you might think, a great one for the whole family to watch. Director's commentary is okay - some insights into movie making.

Nice Christmas movie
The """"Christmas Angel"""" is quite a good movie. Good acting and the movie has a good cast with some well known actors such as Della Reese and Kevin Sorbo. It is a good movie to watch with the family. My family enjoyed watching this movie and we will be watching it for many Christmases to come.

Good Christmas viewing
I enjoyed this DVD. We see the children in the town thinking a house is haunted and start by throwing stones at the window and if you hit a window you get your wish. When wishes start to be answered it makes the house more mysterious. Olivia who lives next door wants to know more she thinks an angel lives there. I love the interaction between Olivia and the mysterious lady. There are some unanswered questions which Olivia goes seeking answers for which can lead to some dangerous situations. A good DVD which all the family can enjoy.

Heart Warming
Great acting especially by the main character the young girl Olivia. Lovely example for all children. Some gospel message. Focus is on relationships. Qualty production and heart warming. Suitable for all the family.
