Come Back to Me (#01 in Waters Of Time Series)

This is the first book I have read from Jody Hedlund and I loved it. It was great that it has twists and turns in it. It was definitely quite different from my normal novels. The theme of time travel was done very well. I did not want it to end. Cannot wait to read the next one in this series.

Absolutely loved this book. It was my first time reading a time travel story and it actually made sense. Like it was really believable. I have loved every YA series that Jody Hedlund has written, and this was no exception. Will and Marian are the sweetest couple and I was so sad when I reached the end of the book. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long for book 2!!

I am a little taken aback by other reviews. Yes, this was well written with likeable characters, however the premise of the whole plot is absurd. I could have gotten past it better if the contemporary characters were historians and not scientists. The leaps taken were ridiculous as far as being anything close to logical or realistic. That being said, it is fiction so still a nice story and captivating enough that I want to know about other characters in the second book.

You know it's a good story when you can't wait to get back to read more, you stay up later than you should and when you can't be reading you can't stop thinking about the book. This is that book! I couldn't read fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. The romance between Will and Marian was intense and smouldering. Can't wait until I can get my hands on book 2.

I had pretty high expectations for this book - and it totally met them all, if not exceeded them. I absolutely loved it! The time travel part of it was so well-imagined (to the point of being almost believable), and the storyline absolutely captivating. I didn't want to put the book down and finished it with a big smile on my face. So well done. The romance was pretty sweet too. Awwww! Such a great book and really looking forward to more in this series.
