General editor Lloyd J. Ogilvie brings together a team of skilled and exceptional communicators to blend sound scholarship with life-related illustrations.?The design for the Preacher's Commentary gives the reader an overall outline of each book of the Bible. One of the best commentaries on

You could not ask for a better commentary on Daniel. Ferguson does a great job of providing exegesis for the book of Daniel and does not fall into the trap of looking for too much meaning in the visions that simply isn't there. Further, as a """"Preachers commentary,"""" Ferguson provides appropriate and deeply provoking application from the text. And to top it all off, it's a highly readable book that has been wonderfully constructed. Is a fantastic book for anyone (lay, pastor, scholar alike) wanting to be shaped and grown by the book of Daniel.
