Shines Brighly
With this one you need to have read at least book 2 in the Aedyn Chronicles cause this one starts right in the thick of it. There's a certain kind of rural and wild Englishness to the series which I appreciate. Love the ending and I hope read more from Alister, be it fiction or non-fiction. Thank you Koorong for letting me discover this series!

A Great End
""""Darkness Shall Fall"""" is the last book in the Aedyn Chronicles. As Peter, Julia and Louisa work together to keep the people of Aedyn safe, a young man comes and claims that he is the Deliverer. He says that he was sent from the Lord of Hosts to help them escape. At first they believe him, but something happens that makes their doubts arise. My eyes were glued to the pages as I read. I was literally sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. Great for kids 8-14. This is an amazing adventure.
