Well, this book exceeded my expectations . . . informative, insightful, enlightening, heart-breaking, exciting and encouraging. Muslims are being directly shepherded by Jesus, appearing to them personally in dreams and visions which change hearts and minds forever . . . even deciding to die for Him if necessary! Covering countries such as Iraq, Iran, Israel, Afghanistan, Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are very busy! I didn't know much about Muslim beliefs or the Islamic way of thinking . . . this book has opened my eyes (and yes some of it is shocking when you read what happens to people when they become Christian), but there is an over-riding feeling of hope and victory throughout. God is very much in control and is touching people in all levels of Islamic society from the lowest to the highest . . . even Immams (leaders in Mosques) are being visited by Jesus and forming their own cell groups to pray! This book is essential reading if you want to understand Muslim thought and are open to believing not all Muslims are terrorists, but are human beings just like you and me! God be praised for what He is doing in the Middle East. Thank you Tom Doyle.

Essential Reading
Dreams and Visions: Is Jesus Awakening the Muslim World? is a revelation of God's love for all people. Yes, even those feared and in some ways hated other descendants of Abraham through Ishmael are LOVED by God. I found this book and the accounts within its pages to be enthralling and challenging, as Doyle unveils God's love for all of Abraham's children. It strips back the bias that westerners seem to have regarding people of Muslim descent and reveals that those that have converted from Islam into Christianity not only accept that Jesus is the Son of God who died and rose again, but that they would be willing to die for Him! Yes, those Christians in Muslim nations have to be willing to die for their faith - and that is a very real possibility for them on a daily basis. I encourage you not to be put off by the title, as I almost was. As I stated earlier in my review, this book is a revelation of God's love for all people. I hope it will challenge and inspire you, as it has me. Note: I received a digital copy of this book free from the publisher through the booksneeze. com book review bloggers program.
