Elijah, God's Mighty Prophet (I Can Read!2/adventure Bible Series)

This book is mine and my daughters favorite book in the series that we have read so far. It's perfect for learning to read, and the illustrations are captivating. I am especially happy with its truthfulness, according to scripture. They have just omitted the part where the Prophets of Baal are killed by the Israelite's for teaching them to worship Baal and sacrifice their children to him-- for obvious reasons. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe story also covers the widow who was starving (it doesn't quite say, she gave her last meal to Elijah), but the rest is there. The part where Elijah is fed by the ravens and supplied water by God is also there, and then how when the people finally worshiped God, the drought ceased. Its a great story and well covered, so I recommend it to all.
