This is the children’s version of the ERV. It is exactly as described above but, to me, the brightly coloured cover and endpapers grab the attention as much as the 58 coloured illustrations in the middle. The illustrations are printed on a nice quality paper; each has an explanatory title and the Scripture reference to find the story so any child can search for themselves or can show an older child or an adult what they’re interested in reading. It says for 3rd grade reading so I bought for my family bookshelf, and I believe this is a good primary school child’s Bible to use between a young child’s and a youth Bible. A good price. Sadly, not available in a hardback so I bought the paperback which is nicely presented. Koorong have a great range of affordable and very readable Bibles for children of all ages.
