Packer does a very good job of making clear the difficult balance of man's responsibility and God's sovereignty. Both ideas exist and are very clear in scripture, so what do you do with it? Well, packer helps us navigate these two difficult ideas by weighing up scripture and providing wisdom so that we might land on a balanced position. If you struggle with this tough doctrine then this book is for you!

This is an excellent book. \\nIt is short and to the point but at the same time in-depth in its arguments. \\nPacker places evangelism in its right place. He cuts through the noise of various disputes and differing opinions, and gets to the heart of evangelism and the biblical and correct way to view it. \\nHe addresses various points that have been neglected or forgotten in modern day evangelism. He seeks not to be prescription but lay out principles which should guide all evangelism.
