God Hears by Stephanie Carmichael is part of the Books for Little Ones series by Matthias Media. The Bible verse that inspired this book is Psalm 116 verse 1 and it's presented nicely on the second last page. I love the way this book introduces little children to situations where they can pray such as when they're sick and also acquaints them with different types of prayer such as saying sorry to God. It's a great privilege to share these important truths with little ones and we are so blessed to have books such as this to assist us. The photographs of babies and young children are delightful, especially appropriate to little ones who are wired to take an interest in human faces. Highly recommended.

Nice children's book
This is part of a lovely series of children's books. It is a vibrant, small paperback book with lots of photos for the images. Each page has a photo and one or two lines of text. There are a diverse range of people in the photos, from different cultures. Examples of the pages are """"God wants me to talk to him. I can't see him but he can hear me. """" and it covers lots of different scenarios: """"I can talk to God in the day time. . . In the nighttime. . . when I'm inside. . . outside. . . when I'm by myself. . . when I'm with my family and friends. . . when I'm happy. . . when I'm sad or sick. . . God always hears us. """" It uses a familiar repetitive phrase of """"I can talk to God. . . and he hears me. """" which I found successful for young children. Children aged 1- 4 would most benefit from this book, and its a great price for a nice little book. My children respond well to the photos of other children, and it covers some great truths about God, and his omnipresence. My 3 year old daughter has been asking lots of questions about God, prayer, etc. and I found this book helped us have some great conversations and covered some helpful bases about what we mean when we say 'God hears us. '

Beautiful book
This is a beautiful book - small for little hands, lots of colourful pictures of children from all backgrounds. It talks about being able to talk to God in any situation. It is simple, but still nice to read out loud. There is some repetition, which small children love, and many pages open together have contrasting ideas (inside/outside, happy/sick or grumpy). It ties back to scripture at the end. My toddler loves reading it. My only wish is that it was a board book.

God hears you anytime
This is part of a great little series. Each book in the series has really lovely photographs accompanied with a line or two of accompanying text. This book explains that even though you can't see God, He hears your prayers at anytime of day or night.
