This is part of a great little series. Each book in the series has lovely photographs accompanied with one line of accompanying text. The book has a lovely page with ideas for parents (for both younger babies and older preschool children) as well as links to relevant bible passages. This book 'God knows me' has lovely photos and explains what God knows about you - He knows your name, He knows what you look like, God knows you because He made you! \\r\\nIt is a real shame they don't sell this series as a collection.

Book reinforces what we have taught them
In a Christian walk, we have given children the foundations like God knows you. . . because he - created you, watches you all the time daynight, he's everywhere. But your child might continually ask 'but why?, but how do you know?' We know because the Bible tells us and that's how and why we know, but what other answer is there for a child to know and understand. Well, the answer is when somebody else tells them - when they get the answer from someone else or read in their own 'bible' tailored to their own age. But most kid's Bibles don't go into that depth at that point. \\r\\n\\r\\nThese books by Stephanie Carmichael do just that, with a book on each theme of its own in the series. When I read these for the first time to my niece it reinforced what I've been telling her for all these years. It was no longer me telling her, it was God telling her through these books. \\r\\nAt the growing times when children are testing boundaries, I've been telling my niece that """"God is watching you and you need to say sorry to God when you do the wrong things too"""", and these books also reinforced these important messages, and my niece was astonished when she heard it. . . wow. . . it wasn't just her Auntie that was saying it!
