***About the 'Books for Little Ones' series***
The first three or four years of a child's life are a wonderful time. Children are discovering so much about themselves and about their world. It is a delight—and often lots of fun—to watch the changes taking place in front of our eyes.

Helping a child learn about God during these formative years is both a great privilege and a unique challenge.

'Books for Little Ones' is a series of simple books written specifically for this age group (1-4 year olds). Along with beautiful photos, each book provides age-appropriate teaching about God and us, in a way that encourages your child to take the first steps of faith—first steps on what will be, God willing, a lifetime journey of growing in the knowledge and love of God.

Author, Stephanie Carmichael, also provides extensive tips and ideas for parents.

    Kids love it

Our kids love reading this to the younger children. It has bright, real life pictures that show all of what God has made in creation. It ends with a Psalm. The only downside is that it's paper and not a board book. But otherwise, would still recommend. It's a good story to read before a nap.

    Great little read!

We were introduced to this book from a friend. Our little boy began enjoying this book from around 12 months and we have bought a few more in the series since. I particularly like this one in the series as it is not too wordy and focuses on many aspects of God's creation.

    Biblical foundations

Small colourful book teaching children that God made their world, and how big God is. Engaging colour photos and one sentence per page. Perfect for toddlers, but isn't board book format. Whole series is great.

Part of a great series for preschoolers

This is part of a great little series. Each book in the series has lovely photographs accompanied with one line of accompanying text. The book has a lovely page with ideas for parents (for both younger babies and older preschool children). I agree with the other reviewer, that this book does appeal to 4-5yo learning to read as the basic language used and familiar sight words mean it can be read independently by beginning readers. \\r\\nThis book 'God made' has lovely photos of nature and other things God made, e. g. Trees, flowers, and fruits and vegetables! This book really does appeal to children and teaches them that God made everything. \\r\\n\\r\\nIt is a shame they don't sell this series as a collection.

    A terrific series

I have been reading this book (and others in the series) to my two year old daughter for about a year now and she loves them. The clear, bright photographs capture her attention and the simple text is easy to understand. After reading this particular book my daughter likes to point out to me the many things around her that God has made, so she has certainly grasped the concept of God the Creator! My five year old also likes to sit with us as I read the books, and doesn't find them babyish - in fact, I think they would also suit children learning to read for themselves. \\r\\nI highly recommend this book, and the whole series.
