God Made Colours (God Made Series)

This is a bright simple book perfect for bubs under 18 months of age. It's small. . . which meant that my little one could manage to hold it with her chubby little fingers! The bright colours and simple text appealed to her. And it's nice cheap, making it perfect for play group gifts!

This is an incredibly basic book. It has bold illustrations with clear outlines, for example """"God made red"""" and there are several clear illustrated animals or objects that are red. It is great for linking Church time to other times children are learning about colours! Although this is a fairly basic book, our child (now a toddler), reads this story in a different way. As a baby the illustrations were bright and eye catching. Now as a toddler, we count the different coloured items, talk about or find other items of the same colour, and even note our child looking around Church to spot other things the same colour, like what the Minister is wearing or the colour of the bible. It is a durable board book and nicely sized for babies and toddlers to hold. Only negative would be that I have purchased a few of these online and the rounded edge at the top wasn't always neatly cut by the publishers. I would definitely recommend purchasing this book. It is one of our family favourites, really the take home message that God made everything!
