In this third book of her intriguing series, Anne Hamilton looks at the forces of darkness that can prevent us from moving into our God-given calling and identity. In particular, three spirits are identified: Python (constriction), Rachab (wasting) and Leviathan (backlash). Through meticulous research, Hamilton looks at the bases for these spirits and the keys God has given to overcome them and move into our destiny. \\n\\nI'm in awe of the author's scholarship. She has a love of language and mathematics and brings out the many-layered meanings of biblical words and concepts in a way that is rarely seen. Her exposition of historical examples from scripture raised many issues I hadn't considered before. \\n\\nI did find the book a little heavy-going at times, and I sometimes struggled with the complexity of the issues. However, the author brings a lot of insight to the topics and I found it extremely thought-provoking. I could relate to a number of the anecdotes. \\n\\nThis book is not for the faint-hearted. However, if you like to be challenged in your thinking and would like a greater understanding of things that might be blocking you from the realisation of your dreams, this book will give you lots of food for thought and keys for living the life you were meant to live. \\n\\nI would like to thank the author for providing me with an Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review.
