This book is faithful to scripture, accurate and includes an amazing 156 stories that point each back to Christ, hence the sub title 'discovering Jesus in the Old and New Testaments'. Very faithful gospel message. Also has recommended ideas on reading it to children of different ages. The pictures are bright, which I think appeals to the kids, I personally prefer a different style. But in my opinion this wouldn't stop me buying this for others or recommending it, it's the content that counts! Highly recommend! Probably suited to ages 5+, although my 4 year old can sit and listen well enough.

Good Bible for lots of ages
This is a good Bible for a lot of ages. It tells the stories in a great way. I like the questions at the end of each chapter. The questions could help make the children think more about the story. It also has good pictures. The pictures could help bring more excitement to the stories.

Children's Bible for the family
We have all really enjoyed this Children's Bible (parents and children alike). It is the best fit for our family with children 3-9 years. We were looking for a Bible to read after reading 'The Big Picture Story Bible' many, many times and this Bible is a great next step! Easy to read and long enough to give a good explanation of each bible story. Each story from Genesis to Revelation is explained really well and always ends with how the story applies to Jesus and God's plan for Him throughout the whole Bible. Each story ends with 3 questions which help the children to review what they have heard. We are now reading it with the Devotional books (Old Story New and Long Story Short) that go with this Bible. We highly recommend this Bible!
