Beautiful
All Tessa Afsher books are great but this one is my favourite. I was deeply absorbed from the very first page. It brings to life the story of Ruth and Boaz in the most magical way yet with so much truth! Beautiful language and writing skills! I could definitely read this book again!

Intriguing
I found this book to really capture your imagination and to draw you in. It also highlights the difference of how people communicate and how childhood memories shape us. I loved the biblical setting as I found it really engages you as the reader

true love
I'm so glad I brought Harvest of rubies and Harvest of gold at the same time as I couldn't wait to find out what happens in this sequel to Sarah and Darius the two most unlikely matched people but Tessa tells a story so compelling that before you know it you're in love with Sarah and Darius and you're cheering them on. You'll even laugh out loud at some of the antics of Sarah.

A moving story
Love the intensity of this story. The Author paints an engaging love story in a historical biblical setting, that captures the drama, romance and tragedy of the lives of Sarah and Darius. The story grabs your attention right from the beginning and keeps you guessing throughout as Darius tries to find the kings assassin. Love how the Author brings the past to life in the life of Nehemiah through this story. The characters were detailed and very realistic and are easily drawn into your heart. I did not want to put this book down. A very moving story, beautifully written and pure reading pleasure.

Another great read from Afshar
This is another great book from Tessa Afshar which completes the story begun in Harvest of Rubies. In this book you see more of the Bible story and it's interesting to see how she makes the two intersect. You really can't go wrong with a Tessa Afshar book!
