I Am: Bible Stories, Devotions and Prayers About the Names of God

I read this with my daughter every morning. Each day we go over a name of God. Every name comes with the matching bible verse, bible story/book and a relatable explanation, concluding with God's love, plus a mini prayer. The pictures are beautiful! My daughter absolutely loves them. Perfect book for all ages!!

This hardcover book is absolutely beautiful and would be perfect as a gift for kids of all ages. I love how it takes familiar stories (stunningly illustrated) and pairs them up with forty different names for God and prayers that lead on from that name. There's such power in praying the names of God, and I love that it can be so simplytaught even from a young age. It goes into such depth - with prayers, life application, pronunciation of the Hebrew name (when relevant), stories - yet is still simple enough to be read to young kids. That said, I'm seriously tempted to buy this book for myself. It's incredible!

This book is amazing. It is appropriate to be read to low-mid primary children and could be read by mid-primary students as a devotional. \\n\\nMy son (nearly 5) has loved listening to the book and learning about God. It uses Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments to teach about God's character and different names for God. It then has a passage to apply it to our lives, a prayer, further study opportunities and a short summary of what happens next in the Bible story before the next section. We read one story each night. Because of my son's request we are now reading it through for the third time! \\n\\nI highly recommend this book for families to use as part of your family worship or devotional time or for you child to read for themselves. I would use it as a devotional in a Christian school too.
