This is a wonderful story that follows tye lives of 2 young women through WW2. I live how it shows that even though you can make horrible mistakes God will still forgive you.

If I Were You
WW2 drama. I liked the emerging friendship and following the characters through life and their growth. Absolutely hated the horrible advice at the end to continue lying to Louis and Jean. Not a Biblical way to deal with it. I do love her heartfelt repentance to the Lord though.

A moving story
I thoroughly enjoyed the journey this book took me on into the lives of Audrey and Eve during World War II. The story evolved beautifully, pulling me into Audrey and Eve's special friendship, their loves, their losses and rivalry as they both grew up in two different social classes. This captivating story of family, friendship, loss, faith, love and hope gives you a realistic glimpse of what life would have been like in England during World War II. The Author has blended well researched history into storytelling, that sweeps you away to another time and place. A moving story that will capture your heart.

Lynn Austin at her brilliant best!
This story, set in World War 2, if filled with delightful, believable characters and a plot that kept me intrigued. I love the way Lynn Austin introduces Bible teaching without being 'plastic' or 'preachy'.
